Mona’s art practice centers on themes of women, the body, clothing, and power. By delving into the physical and psychological pain and struggle women experience, she explores a femininity that is both filled with tension and allure. Mona's work is not confined to a fixed abstract or figurative style but is instead focused on expressing the themes that are significant to her at the current stage.

She is particularly drawn to qualities of tension—fragility and struggle, softness and hardness, wildness and restraint—which serve as powerful sources of inspiration and emotional catalysts for her work. She believes this duality and instability give her subjects depth and a captivating allure, strengthening her connection to the world. Her creative process is fueled by self-reflection, particularly through the lens of intimate relationships, offering her insights into her own vulnerability, desires, and inner strength. Additionally, her fascination with fashion and the deconstruction and reconstruction in modern design allows her to closely observe the distinct tensions present in femininity.

Primarily working with oil painting and installation, Mona views the body as a sensitive and fragile vessel, a medium for exploring internal qualities and emotions. Her work draws from her personal growth to express women’s pain while highlighting the resilience and vitality hidden beneath. Through the use of diverse materials, she brings forth the enduring strength of femininity, embodying the dynamic tension that drives her creative vision.
